??? Ditto for me! It only lets you select one picture and if you click on another picture it deletes the first choice? Something needs to be "tweaked" Jon ...

    Mystery key?

Can anyone here identify this key and tell me what make or model of car it was originally made for? A friend of mine emailed me the photo this morning and says it is a Ford key but didn't send a photo of the reverse side, so I'm not positive about that. Has anyone seen one of these before...

Salmon fishing & Grouse hunting this weekend!

My store's staff fishing trip was this past weekend, and Laurie and I drove up to Port Renfrew to be a part of it. (About a 2 hour drive north-west of Victoria) Laurie went out fishing for salmon on one of the store's boats and I took Jake, our German Short Haired Pointer, out for a hike to...

1968 Log House Pub Hot Rod & Harley car show

Tigers galore! If you go back to my previous thread about the "Blethering Place Collector Car Show" earlier this year you'll see three different Tigers in my photos of that show (including this British Racing Green version). Surprisingly, there are several of these cars on Vancouver Island ...

1968 Log House Pub Hot Rod & Harley car show

Well, Laurie and I took the GT/CS out to the last big show and shine for 2011 in our area today. The Log House Pub has sponsored an annual show and shine for several years raising funds for charity and it keeps getting bigger and bigger each year. It was blistering hot all day long, but there...

    1968 Hood Pin Attach Method

Guess I need to do that! At the Torquemaster Car Show on Sunday there was a gent asking about the GT/CS specific parts, and when we got to the hood locks the one on the passenger's side popped right out! The glue had let go on the top washer from engine heat, and yes, there is nothing holding...

Especially that 7 litre (427) Galaxie! That's a pretty rare bird ... The "C" type Jag with right hand drive was pretty neat too!

Cobra II's ... I talked to a friend of mine at the show that I hadn't seen in ages, and in conversation he mentioned that he has a project car "tucked away" in his barn ... a little Cobra II like the one that was parked next to us! He bought it locally about 7 years ago in "fair" condition (it...

. Torquemasters Collector Car Show in Sidney BC

Here are some photos that I shot today at the Torquemasters Collector Car Show in Sidney, B.C. The Torquemasters is a local car club that has been around for years, and their show is generally well attended. Today was no exception. Unfortunately, there was no "gold" for us today, but we...

1968 Front end sit higher than back end of GTCS

It only makes sense ... Oh come on guys, there is an easy answer for this one! They were "California" cars so of course they came from the factory with a "California Rake" ... (... at least that is what we used to call it around here when hot rods were "raked" higher in the front end...

. Blethering Place Collector Car Show in Victoria

Hmmm ... Nope, I haven't seen a gold GT/CS around Victoria at all, so I wonder if they are still in town? I only know of three other GT/CS's in the Victoria area, which is the other "S" code in Highland Green that is undergoing full restoration right now (got Arlie's attention with that...

. Blethering Place Collector Car Show in Victoria

Not sure about that? I don't know any of the owners of the Tigers that were displayed there, but overhearing a conversation between one of the owners and a friend of his it sounds like these cars change hands regularly! I don't know if you noticed it or not, but another interesting project car...
