1968 What do you like the most about the 1968 Mustang?

Sorry ... I'm sorry to have to say that my absolute personal favorite Mustang is still the classic 65 Fastback! I've always loved the overall styling of these cars and especially the original, classic Shelby GT350 version. SOMEDAY ... we WILL finish our own 65 GT350 clone car and as much as I...

New Year's Day staff shooting event ... Every New Year's Day our store hosts a staff, family, and friends Trap shooting day and social up at our local Fish & Game club. This year we had about 40 to 50 people drop by to shoot a few clays and share a pot luck lunch of Buffalo, Mule Deer...

Looks like everyone had fun that day! Nice Pattern 1917 rifle, still in full wood military dress too. A S&W model 14 (38 Special?) or Model 19 (357 Magnum?) and an old S&W 39 (single stack magazine) or 59 (double stack magazine) in 9mm. The stainless revolver with the heavy underlug barrel...

    1968 The Wisdom of Children

Kids love classic cars! When we were up in Kamloops last August for their "Hot Nites in Kamloops" show and shine we had as many youngsters come and comment on the car as adults ... Many of them asked for "photo ops", which I am more than happy to oblige them with. Hey, these are young...

    Everybody's favorite recipes?

North West Sourdough ... My grandfather John Bradstock was an amazing man that moved to Canada from England at a young age, worked hard all his life, raised a family, and lived to a ripe old age of 94 years. Unfortunately, my grandmother passed away many years before him, and he was left to...

    Everybody's favorite recipes?

Canadian Cowboy Beans This is another favorite of ours and I often make these for our Cowboy Action Shooting match lunches. They've never failed to get rave reviews! For larger batches just double or triple the recipe ... Canadian Cowboy Beans 1 pound or so of soaked, boiled, and...

    Scott Drake Lower Control Arms

Have to admit that we were wondering the same thing. This past year we bought a complete set of rebuild parts for our big block power steering, but after the car was torn half apart we found that most of the parts wouldn't fit. Hoses were wrong lengths or wrong contours and a couple of the...

    Everybody's favorite recipes?

Another family favorite ... Laurie's family back in Manitoba has some Ukrainian roots as well as Scotch Metis history, and this is another one of their favorite family recipes. We've made these several times and they are tasty! Best thing is to make the meat balls and then simmer them in the...

1968 NOS Hood locks: Are they worth it?

Real or repro? If you shop carefully you can probably buy a set of NOS hood locks for nearly the same price you'll pay for repros. I bought our new set in the Ford factory boxes for under $100.00, so they were a good deal. (I kept the old original pair in our spare parts of course ...)

Christmas Cookies ... All kidding aside, and since it is the Christmas season, here is a new recipe that we got from one of my wife's girlfriends. They are awesome if you love the taste of ginger! Double Ginger Crackle Cookies Pre heat your oven to 350 degrees Ingredients ¾ cup of...

    Everybody's favorite recipes?

Another favorite of mine are fresh, hot buttermilk biscuits! When we go Cowboy Action Shooting, my alias is "Reverend Al", and I'm often the "camp cook" and prepare hot lunches for the shooters at our matches. Heck, they have to be good or I wouldn't want to serve them to a bunch of armed and...

    Everybody's favorite recipes?

OK, here's another favorite of mine that we make often. I love old style traditional yellow cornbread, and this is the best recipe for it that I've found to date! The secret to awesome cornbread is to bake it in cast iron, and I bought special Lodge cast iron cornbread pans that are...

    Everybody's favorite recipes?

OK, it seems like we needed to start a "favorite recipes" thread so that we can share a few culinary delights (especially this time of year), so here are a few to start things off. My wife Laurie is originally from Selkirk, Manitoba and is Metis, so I have a few native Metis recipes that...
