    1968 Headliner wrinkle struggles

Yes, in my opinion it is the only way to be successful. If you have the glass in, you might look at one of the one-piece headliners. I think Neil has used them.

I may have one if you are still looking.

    1968 Upper Console

I am not sure it can be done properly without at least pulling part of the headliner down. There should be two indents in the back window rail for the back screws.

1968 Why not convert my GT/CS to convertible

I agree with those above, sell the GTCS and convert a 68 convertible. Here is a 68 GTCS convertible clone.

For Sale Early GT/CS that may be a Clone

I have never seen anything like that. It certainly looks like a better solution than the cardboard panels. I would like to know where he got it. Ford proto type? It looks to good to be home made.

    1968 1968 gt/cs

It was great spending time with you guys at the MCA national. BTW I found the bracket and wiring for the overhead console.

    1968 Lower Ball Joints

No part numbers on the upper or lower control arms. I agree with Neil, soak it over night then heat then try the impact. If that does not work use a breaker bar with as much pressure you can give while smacking the end of the bar with a rubber mallet. It has worked for me.

    1968 1968 gt/cs

I have a nice overhead console. BTW are you going to the MCA national show in South Carolina at the end of the month?

    . Triple "B's" Garage

Nice work Rob. It should handle like a new car. In 67 only the convertibles had the torque boxes on both sides.

For Sale 1968 California Special, Blue.

Even some high end restorations are incorrect. For 68 the Shelby, GTCS and HCS bezels are all chrome. You may be thinking of the regular mustang bezel that had the black in the center of it. Marty MCA 67-68 Shelby Gold Card Judge

Our prayers are with your family. I took over the HCS registry from Bob, he had the entire registry on 3x5 cards. I am amazed at how much work he put into it. I and so many of us in this GTCS HCS car family have benefited from his efforts. RIP Bob

    1968 wide grill opening molding

Nicks and defects do not polish out of the aluminum. It is bright dipped anodized, which makes a very hard coating that will not corrode. unfortunately, it is not repairable. It is best to start with a good part.

    1968 wide grill opening molding

NOS is the best. I still can find good originals that I can refinish.
