Yes you are right. It must have been a bit too late last night. As I said in post #2 the jack instructions show how it goes.

The top part of the jack faces the hook and the jack base is under the tire, nothing touches the rim. Do you have a owners manual? I think there may be a diagram in it.

Look at your jacking instructions under the trunk lid. It shows the jack under the spare and the handle used as the hold down.

I am guessing the black is tape covering the tilt steering switch. The driver's door latch is the incorrect finish and the seat back leaver is upside down. It looks like a nice car, but I would check it over very carefully. Especially the damage repaired portion.

I wonder what that is in the driver's door jamb? Anti-theft? I think the owner that had it in the movie use to be on this forum. Arlie should know.

IMHO your car is too late to have a C6 intake. Some of the early 68s had them.
