if you ever put your car in a indoor show the newer NOS ones are the good ones to have. Just put my CS in a show 2 days ago and if it did not have the inner cap I would have to have the ENTIRE exterior cap masking taped.

hard to compute what you said............ if 3800 some odd 68's were made and 8600 some odd 07's are made then in 40 years there would probably be twice as many as 68's now. factor in that in 08 they made a bunch as well. I doubt the 07/08's will be as rare as the 68's in 40 years.......IMO

I ordered a backyardbuddy.com lift that should be here in 6 weeks. Not cheap but it seems to be very well built and I have never heard anything bad about them. Buy it once instead of going cheap and buying it twice. $4500 plus ship for the basic model. drip pans, jack tray and casters added...
