1968 C4 transmission shift linkage rod

IIRC, with the shift selector all the way forward in Park, and the C4 lever all the way back, the rod should line up. The rod is slotted to allow the stud on the C4 lever to be inserted and tightened with the nut. Neil

    1968 Carburetor upgrade

Without seeing the entire mounting bracket, I cannot tell. It just looks like the compressor needs to be a quarter inch forward. 1968 Carburetor upgrade

It may be the angle of the photo, but the A/C pulley appears to be misaligned aft a fraction of an inch. Use a straight edge to be sure the pulley grooves are lined up. Neil

1968 Working with 50-Year Old Parts

50 year old C4 A/T leaks: Red fluid on the floor? I bought a seal kit for the linkages that leak where the shifter seals leak on the side of the transmission. (E-bay, Pro's Choice Transmission Parts) It includes the O-ring seals & pan gasket. I also bought a 'girdle' that fits around the...

    1968 Drip rail

I just saw an ad for the aluminum strips that were installed in the drip rails for vinyl top coupes. A little pricey, but for someone in need its the first I've seen this part available. Mustangs Etcetera, Van Nuys, CA Neil
