I went ahead and bought a new Holley 2 barrel 350CFM carb (doesn't help the wallet that I have a gigantic Summit Racing store nearby) for my newly rebuilt 289. I'm hoping this will bring a bit more performance to the car while still keeping the stock appearance and stock 2 barrel manifold.
Any tips on retro fitting this onto the stock 2 barrel intake manifold, specifically fuel lines, electric etc. or any other helpful hints for installation.
Here is a pic of the engine dropped back into the car. I now have all of the attachments mounted and I'm getting down to the final details.
Also, ended up having the transmission rebuilt...anybody in the DFW area, Chuy at Top Notch Transmissions was great!
Thanks
Nick.
