For Sale 1968 GT/CS project in CA

Now why on earth would he show the portion of the Marti with the VIN, but not the part showing "California Special"? Steve

    For Sale Renee's Blue GT/CS

Rene', my thoughts are with you as well. I agree with Rob on the power steering conversion, and don't think it would hurt value a bit. My thought is that if Tim were to host another get together this fall, and you had the parts ready to go, you'd probably have a full compliment of amateur...

That's possible. I didn't go that far, just saw that the ad was only a week old. Steve

    1968 17 Inch Wheel Measurements

As long as you maintain the same outside tire diameter, which means less and less sidewall diameter as you increase wheel diameter, you should be fine. Changing the offset or tire width may cause rubbing with any wheel tire combo on the fender or frame rail, depending on which way you change it...

    . Happy Birthday...

I kind of dropped off a lot of sites over the winter. My winter gig turned into a nightmare. It was supposed to be a job with 4 - 10 hour days, but the very first week it turned into 6 - 10 hour days. I did it for 4 months and said heck with it. As soon as I quit, Deb started me on remodeling...

    . Triple "B's" Garage

Looks like it has the racing belts as well. Someone was serious about their fun! I really like what they did with it, right up until it was parked and neglected. Steve

    . Happy Birthday...

Thanks guys. I forgot it was my birthday until people started calling and emailing. :embarass: I've been wrapped up in a house remodel and just spaced it off. Steve

    1968 Headlight wiring harness

Keep in mind that what I'm about to say is speaking generally, because I don't have a car in front of me for reference. If you're getting 14-16 volts from the alternator, your alternator is working correctly. I believe the reason you're not getting full voltage at the battery is because of a...

    1968 Shelby 1" drop

"And I learned that roundy round is not road racing today!" Think Nascar and Daytona for roundy-round, the big ovals. Think Trans-am and the rivalries between the Shelby's, Boss 302's, Z-28's, Javelins, Firebirds and Challengers for road racing. What kids today would call canyon carving...

    1968 Shelby 1" drop

First, what I did was road racing. Driving in a circle for an hour gets me dizzy! As far as the Shelby drop, I highly recommend it. I've done a couple of '68's with it, and the handling improves a bunch. To be fair, I always paired the drop with a wheel and tire change, what used to be...

    '67 GT/CS Convertible

I like it. I would have liked it better if it was a '68, and the fog lights were the correct height, but I like it. Steve
