Make sure you also look at 68 cougars, they came with both the same console as the Mustang but also came with a clock where the door compartment was (this panel will not work). I will keep...

Al, I hope this helps. It shows all the parts #s plus it shows how the back of the radio connects to both the dash and the console sides. Note: The radio backing (actually called 'Panel Assembly' part #7) shows C8ZB-65045B44, however if you look at the above panel the # states C8ZB-6504567...

frisko, you are correct in the Lucas Square 8 for both Shelby's and GT/CS's have chrome backs, not the black plastic and had the word "England" on them not "Foreign Glass" or "Made in England". Doug

Looking at the pictures, I don't think it is a real CS. You can see the standard '68 scoop ornament plus no holes in the hood...etc. I think he was just going to put GT/CS parts on a standard '68. But you never know...I would agree that if it is a real GT/CS then it would be a good deal. Doug

Stephen, did it look like the top item in the picture attached? These where looked at by ford for production but never went on the factory GT/CSs. Paul Newitt had some made and owners could use a cougar steering wheel center to put then on. The other item was placed over the glove box. Doug
