Thanks for the offer. I was wanting to see the article from Mustang Times. I did see the pictures on this site though. Looked like a great show.

    1968 double sided roofrail tape

My detailing process is the same as Rob's. Dust with California Duster after each drive, microfibers and detailer spray when needed, and a good wax job early each year. My GT/CS has not been washed with water since 2013.

1968 At the Car Show Today

I was at a car show today with the GT/CS and as usual, lots of people were interested in the car and what made it different from a regular 68 Mustang. Just as I was getting ready to leave, a fellow came up and told me that he used to own a "California Special Cougar".

How cool is this! The inspiration for the GT/CS survived. Can't wait to see it restored.

I don't have my copy yet, but I found out a couple of days ago that my GT/CS is in the September issue of Mustang Monthly on the Readers' Album page.

    2019 gt/cs

Ford brought back the GT/CS in 2007 and built them every year right up to and including 2017, taking 2018 off, and bringing them back in 2019.

    2019 gt/cs

I probably would have bought one had it been available in 2018, as I wanted to have a GT/CS 50 years newer than my 1968. I ended up with a 2018 GT and I'm certainly not regretting it. It is an incredible car!
