plate under the carb Thanks everyone for the help but I forgot to tell you I needed a plate to fit a 2 bbl thanks Tom if I put a 4 bbl do I have to replace the intake manifold?

Will a plate for a two barrel carb work or am I just wasted my time putting in on Tom

289 dies I had the same problem Check your Vac advance on your dist put a vac on the dist and see if the plate in side of Dist moves to much that is what I did needed to replace Dist runs fine now. Tom Wisconsin
