    For Sale Unknown 68 CS

It doesn't look like it to me, but I am not buying, so I wouldn't waste his time or mine asking questions. He does sound like a jerk, but I can totally relate to where he is coming from, especially if he's been dealing with listing on Craig's List for selling cars. The BS from people...

For Sale Found on Sacramento Craigslist

Haha! That brings back memories of the back of a family friend's Bug with #2 other kids and me in the area behind the back seat! I grew up in the back of my Dad's 1965 Coupe. He installed a cute little pony seat belt in the back, just for me...but he didn't put it there to keep me safe. He...

    . A really bad Day!

Wow! Thankfully it wasn't in first gear! Replace your solenoid AND the ignition switch. I had something similar (nothing that dramatic, thank God) happen with my '69 coupe...started by replacing the ignition switch, but it was still intermittently acting strange, so I did the solenoid as...

    1968 Yakima show/Scott's 428 CJ GT/CS

This is fairly common in the "1968.5" Cobra Jet Mustangs, whether it's a CS or a fastback (or a coupe). Most common was a missing "R" in the VIN stamp on the top of the inner fender aprons beneath the fenders, but it can bee seen in the dash VINs as well. My '68.5 has a blank place (for the R)...

. Yakima WA show this weekend-I-90 delays

Yeah, I REALLY did not like the race, oops, I mean drive, to Yakima that trip. I just cannot keep up with the group of late model cars in my 40-year-old Mustang, and traffic was so heavy that I just didn't dig the trip in general. The pony trails event today was much, much better--mostly old...

. Yakima WA show this weekend-I-90 delays

Here are our cars at the park at this year's Round Up Pony Trails. Amy, I saw you pass me on the freeway (saw your license plate, anyway). Mine is the ratty red one.

. Yakima WA show this weekend-I-90 delays

I'm thinking that we're coming up from Oregon Friday to do the cruise on Saturday, too--but no CS :-( Just a '69 Mach or two.

    1968 "Original Miles"

Good floor mats and seat covers! My very first "brand new" car was a 1985 Honda Civic. I sure was proud of that thing!!! I immediately went out and bought cool fuzzy seat covers that matched the interior, and groovy new rubber floor mats that said HONDA on them. I didn't allow anyone to...

    1968 "Original Miles"

I hate to be a nay-sayer, but the '69 Mach that I've been driving all summer has seats in as good of shape (the original comfort-weave) and similar pedal wear. It says 73,xxx miles, but this is on its third engine--yes third--so it surely is 173,xxx or 273,xxx even. A lot has to do with what...

. If you had to choose...?

It depends upon whether you have anything else to drive. If you only have 2 cars, and the new CS is your daily driver, you need to keep that one. If you have a third dd and have both Cali Specials, then sell the 2009.
