Seems like I see a lot of cars where the "dealer" doesn't consider themselves an "owner." They have a dealer license so it's legal for them to sell the car with an open title.

I can't comment on the missing S, but missing the R isn't uncommon on the fender stampings for the '68s.

Yep, about 5 times more of each than expected!!!

I have a couple of spare FMXs sitting around if you need one. Not rebuilt, but in working order as far as I know. I think I have a C4 that came out of a runner sitting around as well. I like the "feel" of the (incorrect) C4 in my one car, compared to the correct FMX in the other.

I can't answer much, but that the Embassy Suites is walking distance to the show--we always leave the cars at the motel Saturday and walk up to check out the judged cars for a bit. There is a nice bikepath that's not far away that we use.

I believe the smaller chamber is for the rear brakes. I suspect that you'd had one or both rear wheel cylinders start leaking over winter and that's where the fluid has gone. Jack up the rear end of the car by the pumpkin and take a look. The inner rear wheels won't be wet as the brake fluid...
