For Sale Bonnie and Clyde S code 4 speed

It WAS cool--and it just randomly worked out that I was directed to park between you two guys! Kind of embarrassing, tho, to be the only ratty looking car, sandwiched between two beautifully restored examples of the CSs. I agree about the integrity of disclosing the work when selling, and I...

For Sale Bonnie and Clyde S code 4 speed

I saw your car at the thing over Labor Day Weekend in Canada...the green X-code CS between you and the red S-code? Yours is a VERY, VERY nice car! My thoughts on your questions, since you asked... A little high in price. Don't get me wrong--I am on my 3rd CS so I obviously am into these...

1968 There and back again... Road trip!

Yes, my X-code, warts and all. Great runner and driver but not so pretty anymore. It's got the wrong coil, battery cables, and solenoid, but otherwise is fairly correct and stock/original.

1968 There and back again... Road trip!

All and all, things went well. My stop light switch started sticking and I had to keep fiddling with the pedal and it would shut off most of the time after a spell... Otherwise, very uneventful--even idling and creeping for almost 2 hours (!!!!!) to cross the border north. Ugh. Won't make...

1968 There and back again... Road trip!

Drove the CS 810 trouble-free(ish) miles Labor Day Weekend to the 35th International Mustang Meet in BC, Canada. Very nice event and a great showing of CS/GTs... There were 8 or 9 of them total.

1968 X codes and Registration errors...

I hope these show what you want to see. It's kind of hard to get up in there for the camera to work with the flash to get the top down and front-to-back pictures. Anyway, the first set are my X-code CS, and the second are from my X-code Cougar. I posted the data plates for date reference if...

1968 X codes and Registration errors...

I'm getting ready to swap Mustangs at storage and am going to bring home my X CS for a trip to Canada. I'll take photos of my crusty rear axle and post them for you. It won't be pretty, but it's an unmolested, low-miler.

For Sale 1968 S-code GT Coupe( Not a California Special)

"Will sell for what I have in it." Nice looking Mustang, but in my experience (and maybe it's just me), you always pour 2-3 times the cash into a project as it's worth in the end.

No kidding. That doesn't even get you an honorable mention in the dumb-ass competition!

    1968 gas in trunk?

This is true, but I just get out and stand there and watch them. Usually, they offer to let me baby-sit the nozzle. Something else to try is mapping your gas stations for non-ethanol fuel: pure-gas.org I did an Oregon to Montana round trip and managed to fill the tank only once with the...

1968 Proper attachment of trickle charger....

I also have a switch disconnect on the negative battery terminal to kill the power to the rest of the vehicle for long-term storage--just out of paranoia. I try to always do everything in the same order every time, so I attach the positive red cable to the positive battery terminal, then the...
