Been a long time since I've been on here but I have an additional set of excellent condition Lucas fog lights I want to sell. The ones on my car are in great condition but, I acquired a even better set to put on instead. They have the correct 'England' on the glass. All the glass is in...

    C code detailing

A good degreaser and lots of rags. I would use a wire brush to knock down loose paint or finicky grease. Then use a high temp primer and I've always had good luck/results with duplicolor Ford dark blue 500 degree paint rattle can. Lasts forever and doesn't fade or break down and flake

Mike, I am sorry to hear about the car. All that matters is that your'e ok. What a beauty that car was too. All it takes is a bad decision from one person to impact many.

    289 Engine Dies

White smoke huh? Is it super bad? Or is it just a bit? I'd hate for your head gaskets to have gone... that would be a bummer!

    289 Engine Dies

Rule of thumb I use for carbs for when the run rough and die like this is; vacuum test, check choke, and adjust air/fuel if needed. Start with the cheap easy stuff first then move down the list

    289 Engine Dies

1968 Dark Titanium front grille paint

I used duplicolor perfect match sold at most auto part stores.. for a buick dark charcoal grey applacation.. I can look at the paint number when I get home but I sampled an original unpainted gt/cs grille/j molding from bob teets and its perfect. Note tho Bryce, the j moldings and center trim...

1968 GT VS A Non GT California special.

Major cheers to you on that response. If we were in closer places, demographically , I'd say lets get a beer to properly "cheers" to one another.... Unfortunately we have to rely on the power of the net. And I remember the GT J code 9'' topic quite well, and I commend that you still do as well...

1968 GT VS A Non GT California special.

insert foot to mouth to my original post stating "fact" haha I had to delete what I initially replied with cause I re-read your response and it makes sense. I wasn't asking in a non-sensical manner or smart ass way, I just have known this car since his son Scott found the car 20+ years ago and...

Bob teets' cj hcs isn't a gt tho..I'm not sure if I am reading incorrectly but it was stated ALL 68' 428 cars were gt's. I know for fact bobs isn't...hd suspension maybe but no gt outside attributes

For Sale 65-66 original ford non ac console near mint

Selling my near mint console that's for a manual, trans(3-4 speed) for, 65-66 mustang coupe/fastback. It is for a non-A/C car, and has no cracks or breaks anywhere, and is in factory red (but of course can be re-sprayed to your interior color, quite easily) Chrome only needs a slight polish at...
