Good point. I don't recall that it is at a fast idle when it does this. I think it's generally at normal idling rpm when you put it into gear. Will pay more attention to when it happens. It's definitely a quite loud and solid clunk.

Its not used. Been wrapped in brown paper for years. Also has a ford sticker on it as I recall. Will take pics when I get home. I thought you might be distinguishing OEM as a new part but produced later by Ford to its suppliers. No doubt that this is a new part. Will send pics when I can...
