    1968 It’s almost done!

I bought this CS out of California over 30 years when I was flipping rust free cars from California to the Southeast to pay for college. I stuck this one in the barn and kept it. After a 10 year stay with a paint shop it finally came out of paint in January. They did a great job on the paint...

    Wanted Left quarter window

Restoration is almost done on my CS. Been waiting for a repro left quarter window for over 6 months with no end in sight. Prefer new (NOS or Repro) but would consider a used one if it’s not corroded. I have seen hundreds of used ones on eBay and elsewhere. They all have pitting and...

    1968 York vs Sanyo

Hey all. I’m restoring my 1968 CS that I have had for 30 years. It was 99 percent complete, even the pollution control heads. I’m going original in most places but making a few bolt on upgrades for drivability, including some closed chamber bigger valved heads, a period correct 4 barrel...

    1968 Restoration after 30 Years!

I have been a member here for a very long time, and have had a loaded red/red c-code California Special since the early 90’s. The car was last on the road in California in 1982. I stored it until 2010, when I took it for a 12 year nightmare paint job. Finally!…it’s out of the paint shop and...

Wanted 1968 Small Block smog pipes

I’m finically restoring a car that I have had for nearly 30 years. I have apparently lost a couple smog pets along the way. I need both of the metal pipes that screw into the cylinder heads. See attached pictures.

    1968 Best Quality Repo Fiberglass

I am finally getting around to restoring my GT/CS. Does anyone have opinions on which reproduction fiberglass is the best quality? My end caps are missing and one of my scoops is broken beyond repair. I don't mind paying extra for better fit and accuracy in reproduction. Thanks!

    HD 3 spd in 1967?

Does anybody know why Ford offered a HD 3spd option in 1967 (code 3)? I have an S code GT convertible with one. I have maybe seen 1 or 2 others ever. It was more money than the 4 speed, I believe.

    Restoration Costs

So I have restored a number of cars, and done most, sometimes all of the work myself. My CS has been sitting for years waiting for me to get to it, and it seems life just gets busier and busier. I have seriously been thinking that the values are going up enough that it may not be crazy to take...
