Nice solid project but more like 15-18K.

He implies it's a "C" code, but with a numbers matching 302. It's probably a 302 block but with 289 internals.

$14K tops IMHO, depending on any rust under the vinyl top that's loose. It needs everything.

I think there is a rust bubble on the driver’s door.
Cut shock towers
Wrong grille
Rusted out battery box?
The driver’s quarter is also rusted through.

I look at the car today. It is very solid. The owner is not a real car guy. The has had at least one repaint, and the shock towers were cut and the is rust in the battery box. The driver's door is not rusted. It is a little surface rust. The doors shut like a new car. The floor plan are very solid for now. It looks like a little water is getting in the car through the rain channels. Some put silicon on them. The is no rust under the vinyl top. It originally came black and when the repaint was done it was changed to white, but no rust. Floor, and trunk pans are very solid. The front windshield is cracked. I think it would not take much to get it started. I would wake it up and freshen it up with paint and interior and drive it. I saw at least $2000 worth of parts with the car. I am interested and need help placing a value on it. For what everyone is saying anywhere from 14K to 18K? Is it worth what you will have in it when done?

My Garage
Quality body & paint= $8K to 10K
Interior= $1,200
Resurect A/C= $950
Suspension= $600+/-
Unknowns (brakes, engine, clutch/transmission, gas tank, lights, etc.= $2,000.

If you do MOST of the work yourself, You'd then have a $30K GT/CS.
Ask me how I know:

How do you know?

I looked in your garage and you did most of your work yourself.

I send out body/paint. Everything else, I do.
If you have a shop restore the car, then you will spend
$40K to $50K for a $30K car.
