Jbart,

I average about 21 mpg on a tank. My commute is twisty and over a 1600 foot pass. I've averaged close to 28 mpg on highway trips...pretty happy with the gas mileage so far.

Don't ask me about the mileage in the '68 with the 347... ;-(

I don't know, man. I'm always at that stupid gas station. I only have 1700 miles on it though- trying to keep it down, but it's SO HARD not to drive it ALL THE TIME.

Stock it was getting 28 hwy, now with the Steeda intake and tune it's more like 25. Plus have to use 93 octane now. I still like it better than the 9mpg hwy my SRT-10 was getting!

when, and not very often, i slow to 60 mph, and i reset the digital mpg, it will read in the low 30's up to 34 and it will read that consistantly as long as i stay at 60 mph

I am averaging 24.5 mpg, on pure gasoline (no alcohol); however, it is 85 Octane, which is the norm here for regular. 87 is 10% alcohol.

No knocking and the majority of driving is on I-90 at 75 or thru the Black Hills at 55 to 65 on clear, dry days.
