Want to purchase a 1968 Blue California Special. Would like it to have Cobra a jet and potentially be a 3 speed. Please let me know if there is something like that available.

Thanks,
Jeff

I MAY have a line on an S-code (390 car) that now has a 428 in it. It's highland green. Right now that's all I know.

Is there a link to the green one I can take a look at?

Thanks,
Jeff

No link. I'm working on it through another person.
Will let you know when I learn more.

Aqua S code with 428cj and 4-speed

I have an S code that I put all 428cj drivetrain in. Big spline toploader close ratio, 31 spline axels may have N case I'll have to look. It's an actual GT as well and has an 8,000 rpm factory tach. I havn't put the stripes on yet or the rockers. I added a roof console, GT emblems and a cobra to the fenders.....

Not sure how much to ask.....I want at least as much and probably a bit more than it would sell for as an S code GT in similar condition.

Grant

PS. The miles are correct. It also has a new 22 gallon fuel tank so you don't run out of gas so quickly!

PSS. I would still sell this car..... I want 48K for it. I would include a correctly dated complete 390gt engine at that price.....

Thanks Grant, but I found this one. It is a true GTCS and for the $35K I saved from buying yours, I bet I will have enough to find and install a 428 and a 3 or 4 speed tranny.
