RESTORED IN 1997-1998. LAST OWNER SINCE 1997.RARE 390 S CODE WITH C6 AUTO. SUNLIT GOLD WITH BLACK VINYL TOP AND PARCHMENT INTERIOR. ALSO RARE THAT ITS ALSO A GT MODEL AND BLACK HOOD STRIPES. FACTORY A/C WAS ADDED DURING THE RESTORATION OF A VERY SOLID CAR THAT ONLY HAD PREVIOUS LEFT REAR QUARTER PANEL REPLACED. WAS A CONSOLE CAR, I DO HAVE A USED DELUXE CONSOLE THAT NEEDS RESTORED THAT I WILL INCLUDE WITH THE SALE AND A NEW FRONT BUMPER AND NEW HOOD LOCKS. POWER STEERING, POWER FRONT DISC BRAKES, DELUXE SEAT BELTS, CHROME STYLED STEEL WHEELS. MILEAGE SHOWN IS 20344. THE CAR WAS FULLY RESTORED IN NEW MEXICO THE CAR RUNS AND DRIVES, THE CARB NEEDS SOME STARTING FLUID ON FIRST STARTUP. AC WORKS BUT NEEDS A CHARGE. Valve covers are much older than 1968, 1965?
No smog, incorrect Holley carburetor, wrong air cleaner, 1967 A/C controls that Arlie mentioned. Console that is available looks like for a 1967. Deluxe door panels, missing lateral A/C bracket and pulley.
Heater hose bypassed, PCV system is not for an S code engine. Is the carburetor transfer tube really spliced? Rubber hose from the fuel pump to carburetor.
I wonder how many other expensive, 1968 S code parts are missing?
Car looks very solid. Needs a bunch of things sorted out.

I guess the word "restored" is on a wide, sliding scale.
