Presenting this first-generation 1968 Ford Mustang California Special that is finished in Candy Apple Red complemented with a Black interior. Equipped with a 4-speed manual transmission, V8 engine, quad exhaust tips, front-wheel disc brakes, power steering, Weber 4-barrel carburetor, fender-mounted antenna, rear spoiler, hood vents, hood twist locks, 3-spoke steering wheel, "California Special" badges, GT/CS stripes, chrome bumpers, blacked out front grill, front fog lights, BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires, GT-branded hub caps, and a full-size spare tire in the trunk. Amenities include air conditioning, forward-folding front bucket seats, rear bench, lap belts, driver-side rearview mirror, manual-crank windows, vent windows, sun visors, and a JVC radio. In addition to the equipment, this 1960s classic comes with a copy of the Deluxe Marti Report. This example was produced in San Jose, California on March 28, 1968 -- eight days ahead of schedule per Deluxe Marti Report. The car has been color changed inside and out. Original a Royal Maroon outside and Parchment inside. Ture 4 Speed with a 3.25 loc rear end.

I would have liked to have seen the Marti Report that they have.
Was the clutch pedal heated with a torch, and bent, to clear the automatic brake pedal?

@J3CubFlyer Looks great what brand of paint and color did you use for this?
Was able to find tons of original paint in the air cleaner and rear of the block to compare and HVT’s “Light Ford Blue” was closest and readily available. Their Gloss Black Roll Bar and Chassis paint was also a good match for small engine bay spots
