I know, I had to wait thirty years to get one, but I have to sell mine. Oh well, that's the way it goes sometimes. I have thoroughly enjoyed owning and driving this car, it has brought back some wonderful memories and has been a catalyst for meeting the most enthusiatic GTCS owner ever- Amy!
So the car is an unrestored, but in good shape driver. Known issues at this time:
1) Rusted under the battery box
2) Steering is a little loosey goosey
3) Heater core is plugged and fan intermittant
4) All the rubber seals need replacing
5) Very small rust bubble on the lower passenger door
6) TWO passenger seats are installed- needs a drivers seat
7) Headliner torn
8) Engine occassionally cuts out during long parade idles
9) Not stock intake, carb, air filter
10) Hood ding where previous owner closed the hood with the carb stud too high
11) Previous owner added on coil helper shocks on the rear
12) gas gauge reads low
This is not a totally stock car- but I have a lot of the original parts- It has modified sequential turn signals (Mustang Project- easy return to stock) Grant steering wheel (Have cracked original) and a HEI Protonix type distributor.
Car is pretty standard with
289 C Code
AT
4 drums
2:79 Open rear
PS
no AC or PB
Electrically sound
Drove to Seattle to see Amy with no problems (300 mi one way)
Drove to Northern Cal in September with no problems
See my gallery for some pictures, will provide more upon request
