I am new to the forums and looking for a small block 4-speed GT/CS or HCS. I am not currently looking for a project, would perfer a clean driver. I am open to all colors and options.

Thanks

I believe that when I began lookin for mine, someone wise in these matters told me that an original 4 speed car would likely cost 5K more than a comparable automatic due to the relative scarcity. They are certainly a lot harder to find. But it's still a buyer's market and if you can find the right car that is owned by a seller who realizes the market is soft.

I must confess that I have never driven an automatic '68, but I can't imagine it being near as much fun as a 4 speed!

If you change your mind about project status, I have a nice 4 speed 289 GT/CS for sale. It runs but needs some body work and paint.

I do not have any pictures yet but I am sure many of you are familiar with the car. It was Arlie's (Mosesatm) Presidenial Blue car.

Probably my all time favorite car is Arlies or now your Pres. Blue CS, loved the color and the Keystones on it, set it right off to me.

P.S. your new car is in the book we put together here awhile back, not sure if Arlie tipped you off to that but you can purchase a book at Blurb.com, Search by "California Special Way of Life" there is a large version and a small version, the large version is way nice.

Hey Arlie! Are you in GT/CS withdrawl yet from having sold one of your "babies", or did you already buy another one to replace the PB one?
(Maybe you could join the "FE" club the next time around?)

Nope. One is enough for now. But, of course, if someone shipped a Highland Green J-code to me I wouldn't refuse to accept it!

This would work too.
