Not an original color, but it came to me that way and I do like it. 289 V8, well maintained, vinyl top, Lucas fogs, recent new carpet, seat covers, owned twelve years, repair history, clean, 10.5K, found a new home

I love it when folks come on this site with 1 post and want to sell their car without even listing any photo's. You'll get a lot more takers in people with interest if you post some pictures of the car. I don't know about anybody else but, I won't buy without at least seeing a few pics. Is there a Marti Repot or a Ford 999 (CAC report) on this car to authenticate it as a true CS. Just my 2 cents.

Don ???

Don's right on the pics. I was fortunate that I found mine in my backyard and could do full visual inspection. The muffler shop I go to told me many horror stories about people buying cars off the internet and the first time on the hoist they find out that the car is more bondo than metal.

Mike:

Found this while searching the net. Could this be the car in question. Owner didn't post any pics on this site but, was able to post on the below link:

Yes, I can confirm that this is the car in question. I spoke to Alice yesterday, and I mentioned this website, and I think that is what prompted her to post here.

She said that she knows Bob (hicountrybob) from the Mustang club in her area. She also claims to have a "999" report on her CS.

Just thought I'ld share some of the info ... ;).

... and here's another pic (I recommended to her to take a few pic's and have them ready for inquiring minds ... ;) ).

Don,
according to everything I can find, including talking to Paul, there where NO GT/CS's with the Denver DSO, they where all HCS's. If this is authenticated as having the California Special option, someone changed it from a HCS to GT/CS.

Maybe I just missed it - but did she ever say that it was out of DSO51 or did we make the association because she talked to Mr. Teets?

I made that association based on her add saying "BUILT FOR CA MARKET, SOLD IN CO". My mistake.

No worries.... I missed that statement. It sure makes your wonder. It would have been nice if a VIN (could have made some deductions via the run#) or some data tag information would have been given.
I'm looking for another '68 HCS. At 10.5K I might have been all over it.
