ADMIN - New Photo Gallery

You may have noticed a new "Gallery" link along the top of the forums. It's a new Photo Gallery that ties into the membership system of the forums. What that means is each forum member can create and maintain their own personal Gallery(ies). :grin: :grin: No more waiting for me to get around to it (which as some of you know can be an embarrissingly long time):embarass:

It doesn't have quite the same look as the old Gallery and I still have a few reservations about it, but I'd like to give it a try and see what people think.

To try it out click here: http://californiaspecial.com/forums/vbpicgallery.php?do=list and then click "Add or Edit Your Galleries" in the upper right.

kinda cool. any way to make one of the photos in a gallery the main large one at the top or does it rotate them automatically?

It rotates them automatically. Currently there's no way to set just one as the "highlighted" image.

A couple of other things I hope to work into it are multiple uploads and thumbnails in the gallery list. Not sure yet if that can happen or not.

You can now have a link to your Gallery to the left of all your posts. Go to "User CP" then "Edit Profile" and scroll down to the bottom. Thyen check the "Photo Gallery" box.
