Correct California plate number range for '68s

Hey all,

Does anyone know what the correct Black and Gold California plate letter/number range is for 1968?

I do know that "XCJ nnn" is in the correct range. My Dad's Lime Gold CS back in the early 70's had this as the original plate.

Mine is XYR486. It was an early build in Feb. bur wasn't sold until Jan. 69

Our car was built and sold in March '68. It was sold from Downtown Motors INC in Sacramento CA and has plate WDF 737.
