Next year will mark 40 years that I've owned my GT/CS. To celebrate I'm finally giving the GT/CS some long awaited TLC. (complete repaint in original color, replacing headliner and seat covers, complete new drivetrain, upgraded power steering, and more)
I'm planning to start entering car shows, not to compete necessarily but more to just show the car in a casual category like "daily driver".
When it came to replacing my generic, cruddy old floor mats I decided to do something very extravagant and hopefully unique. I found a company in Florida that hand makes custom mats. They do mats for all sorts of purposes so car floor mats is not their only product. Some of their car floor mat customers are owners of concourse cars. So I provided the mat company with a design that I had in mind and they were able to make it happen. This is the result...
