History/Overview: Manufactured in San Jose, CA. First owner from Estevan, Sask. purchased the car
new at Metro Ford in Calgary, Alberta. Sold to a buyer in Regina, Sask. who had the top end of the
engine rebuilt. It then went to a buyer in Athabasca, Alberta and now the car is in Edmonton, AB. The
car is tight and runs very smooth at highway speeds and was obviously babied its whole life. This
collector car is immaculate and a head turner at every corner.
Body: Beautiful body with excellent lines and gaps – original Lime Gold colour. Factory fibreglass
trunk lid (same as the Shelby models). Factory Thunderbird taillights (labelled). Factory signal lights in
hood. Light undercoating.
Frame/Chassis/Suspension: Stock components are new or refurbished. Front sway bar. Adjustable air
shocks in the rear. Very clean undercarriage.
Engine: Original 302 CID HO with Holley Slayer carburetor and electronic ignition. New battery, starter
and alternator. Premium fuel was always used in this car.
Transmission: C4 3 speed Automatic.
Differential: Likely original with 3:00 gears.
Exhaust: Dual 2 ó inch aluminized steel with stock manifolds.
Brakes: Factory front disc with drums in the rear.
Wheels: Factory 14-inch mags with centre caps and beauty rings.
Tires: Good Year Eagle GT II - 215 70R 14
Interior: Beautiful stock upholstery with bucket seats and console. Integral roll up storage
compartment in console.
Extras included: Documentation including the Marti Report. Factory air cleaner. Car cover.
Options and Special Features: Power steering and power brakes. Original PHILCO AM radio. Factory
design spare tire cover to match trunk floor covering.
Known issues: Some light scratch marks on RH door window. Trunk lid very slightly bowed up
(typical). Magnet test is good except for one small spot on the RH door front bottom corner.
Reason for selling: Downsizing.
