Don't know how many of you had the opportunity to see this when it aired last month on NBC so I thought I'd post the site here. For me it brought back a lot of memories of my return from Vietnam (That's when I bought my 1970 Mach I 428 Cobra Jet). It also provided me with an opportunity to stop and say a prayer for those I left behind. Not all support what our government is doing in Iraq but, I thank all the men and women of our armed forces for the sacrifices they make day in and day out that allows me the opportunity to live in such a great country.

I truly hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season.

i did see that episode of american dreams last month. that ad was at the end of the show. if you had watched the show, there were little ads throughout the entire episode. the father on the show owns a tv store and everytime they would switch to the store there were 60's mustang ads on the black and white televisions in the background. a bus rolled by with a mustang ad plastered on the side of it. at the end of the show, the father gave his son i believe a 66 mustang when he returned home from vietnam (just like the ford ad).

take care and have a great Christmas!!

Don,
Thanks for sharing that, as you may know there are no commercials on any of our American Forces Networks (AFN) so I miss all the new ones, even miss all the ones for the superbowl. I would also like to wish all those that service in the Armed Forces, especially those away from their families, a Happy Holiday season and a safe return home.

And to all of you back in the states, Merry Christmas and many you have a great New Year!!

Gosh Doug, I was thinking of you when I was reading the post from Don and there you are wishing OTHERS who are serving...it is you along with your colleagues that we appreciate serving our country; many of which are separated from their families at this holiday season. With utmost respect, we wish you all well.

Doug, as part of the GT/CS "family" I wish you a Merry Christmas and my sincere thanks for your willing to be away during this special time of the year in order to serve us and our country.

Same holiday greetings go to others out there serving our country.
