Fun weekend in Grass Valley...

[Midnight Special]

...as temperatures in the high 90s did little to deter some 850+ cars from attending the annual Roamin' Angels "cruising in the pines" car show. Everything from the 1920s to '72 came from everywhere to enjoy a Friday nite BBQ, three days of display at the fairgrounds and a cruise to historic Nevada City.

...Saw some nice Cougars, T-birds, tribute Shelbys and Machs in addition to a large stable of Stangs!

Renee "Ponygal" and I displayed our "complimenting" gold cars (and were likewise complimented ) throughout Saturday followed by a BBQ at my house with family and friends. My son TJ received his first experience at "double clutching" driving our friend, Chad's 1928 Model A after the show.

A great time was had by all...

Wow....do you guys ever work? BBQin all the time and cruisin all over the place wasting gas?? Sheeezzzz. Good times.

Thats a nice looking purple Stang convertible with silver striping. Wait is that the same one as a tribute with red backend? Red in back purple in front? Hmmm thats wild or are my eyes shot

Yes Tim, The Roamin' Angels Car Show was a lot of fun! So many beautiful cars... It was a bit warm, but we managed to chase the shade for the most part. The setting up there at the Grass Valley fairgrounds is really nice with the cars set in amongst the tall pines.
