All I can say be careful when you modify! You might think it is the coolist in the world but someday when you want to sell it you have to find someone else that thinks it is the coolist in the world. Marty

The bid is now at about what a fastback shell would bring, which makes the case for not making any permanent changes. I think without the sunroofs and tail lights, it would be almost double what it is now.

'One mans trash is another mans treasure.' ie: vise versa: 'One mans treasure is very trashed out!!!!!!!! I just had to go back and revisit it. Its like looking at a bad, bad accident but you have to take a double look before you walk away. It makes my day that Im normal (mostly) and among normal people (mostly) that can spot bad taste before they get to the horizon, but can laugh at it because we are normal.

This is a properly executed sunroof on a Mustang.

1968 Shelby GT-500 sent to ASC for the sunroof conversion soon after purchase.

ASC is American Sunroof Corporation. ASC did, or supplied all of the parts for Lincoln/Mercury during the 1960's and 1970's. and beyond?

Did you notice the more subtle nuances?
Check out the horse emblem and where the side marker light is placed.
And, of course, the duct tape holding the fan shroud together.

If anyone here buys it and wants to get rid of those valve covers, let me know. I need them. Mine are cracked.

...Well, he landed $8,300 for it!
What do you do with a car like that??

My guess is someone with some money felt bad for the fastback and is going to bring in back, at least I hope that's what's going on. I know I'll be able to sleep better thinking that.
