It is shaping up to be a busy summer, car shows and drag races almost every weekend. Here is a neat picture of my fender with the reflection of a very nice white 66 Stang. There is a series of rod runs to area KFC/A&W/Long John Silvers. This pic was on their website at http://www.rpmprod.com/08_RBCR_PIX_MAY_29_2008.htm
The people that host these runs also put on a big 3 day event in Boise called the “Nortwest Motorfest”. It should attract around 1000 cars and this year they are having the cast and the cars from the movie “American Graffiti” at the show. http://www.rpmprod.com/ Have fun everyone and put some miles on those CS’s.

Red is rare

Had to do some searching through the car's documentation. The stripe kit came from Scott Drake Enterprises #C7ZZ-6521546/7A back in 2002. I have a letter from Paul Newitt, to a previous owner of this car in 1987, asking for a piece of the original stripe to use to match colors for Valley Ford in L.A. In that letter, Paul mentioned that red or blue stripes are very rare, accounting for about 10% of the CS’s produced. Hope that helps....
