There should be a thread for people looking for dealer items. I've been looking for more items from the dealership my car was sold at.

Good idea! My car came from Cecil Whitebone Inc. in San Francisco. Love to find stuff from that dealer, especially a plate frame.

Hey Marty...I have a 68 Shelby convertible what was sold out of Gotham Ford.

How is your HCS doing?...mine is still in driver condition but running and alive and well...no time to restore it as of yet. Trying to finish my '35 Ford Pick Up before I start on the HCS.

That is cool, is it restored? Gotham Ford was one of the biggest Shelby dealers in the country in the 60's. The HCS is complete or as complete as they ever are. It has received Concours gold awards at the last two MCA nationals.
Please keep us up dated as to the progress on your HCS when the restoration gets under way.

The Shelby is mostly unrestored and original, 65K original miles, everything is original to the car except a repaint sometime in the 80s. I drive it every chance I can get....hate to see these classics sit!...The HCS is also a driver...but., it has seen better days., it was restored sometime in the 80s....but time has taken it's toll on the exterior....it's also all original...Tahoe Turqoise which I hear is a fairly rare color for ANY 68 stang. Two tone blue interior...so will be a looker when it's done. I just pulled out my other 68 GT out of a two year storage...so wanna get it running....the HCS is in a holding pattern until I decide if I am going to do a frame up or what...I seem to "over-restore"...then I can't enjoy them., so we'll see what happens.
