Anyone know of a way to test if a head lamp switch is working properly without plugging into a car? I know these don't go bad that easily, but with the cost of all the new wiring I am putting in, I don't want the switch to be the weak link. Thanks!

Have not seen a continuity test for the switch. Easiest would be one you have the harness in place (assuming all the wiring is there) just test it in the car. Its really not very hard to get in and out...

You could measure across the contacts with an ohmmeter while you cycled the switch but that doesn't show how it would work under a load. I'd plug it in but leave it hanging, put power to it and measure the outputs (with the lights hooked up) to see if there is a voltage drop.
