Here are photos of the hardware required for '68 2-post headrests.
As far as I know reproductions are not available for any of these parts.
The chrome sleeves are plastic and are fragile.

The chrome sleeves are very hard to find unbroken. I recomend wraping them with several layers of aluminum foil tape. When installing them do not turn from the top. Ford had a tool that fit in a hex hole near the bottem. It was easy to make one.
