when i raced last friday at the track, when i walked back to my car after my first race, someone ripped off one of my hoodpins....really pissed me off.

Anyways...i looked at NPD and they have a set for $116.95...has anyone bought theirs from NPD...if so how was the product? Anyone know a better place to buy them from?

by the way NPD has a blue GTCS on the cover of their Mustang Catalog

Previous posts have stated that some or all of the vendors are out of hood pins so you might want to call NPD just to make sure they really have them.

now im really pissed that someone jacked one of my pins...is this incorrect part the tail lights with the black border? i bought my black bordered taillights from NPD...im going to call them to see if they have them on monday, but im guessing they will be out.

If they are out...has anyone used a different kind of locking hood pin, that racing people use with like a wire or something coming out from the grill to lock on top of the pins?

If so...where would i buy those style (its the style from the 'shelby' in gone in 60 seconds)? where does the wire go into the grill? where does it secure to...

until i get my hood pins back on the car it will basically sit in the garage sooo help please!! i miss driving my CS

That's the style that Ford used in 1969, on Mach 1's, Torino GT's, etc. Check with NPD or some other parts place and look for them under those listings. The pins themselves mount through the radiator support so I don't know how you'd get them to work on yours without drilling extra holes in the hood.:icon_no: I would guess the wires would mount to the bottom of the pin or between the pin and rad. support.

When I bought my car it had pins in it that you could put locks or the cables on. It used the same holes that were there. The problem was the wire on the bracket mounted inside had been cut off...

I had to buy new brackets when I got the correct hood pins.
