The GT/CS arrived today from CA and it looks great!

We had our first day of snow in Chicago (after yesterday being sunny and 50 degrees), so it saw its first and last snow.

It has been great learning from everyone on this site, and I look forward to learning more now that the car is in the garage. I especially want to that Bob Teets who spent extra time with me and got me interested in this unique breed of mustang!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Congratulations on your new baby. ;) You do know, don't you, that this will seem like the longest winter of your life and spring will never come. You'll suffer from "Itchy Foot" and want to drive it so bad-----. We all have it happen.

Casey,
Congrats. That is a great looking car. Fill us in on all the details. Which engine, trans, and options does it have? What condition is it in? Post more pix so we all can drool.

Casey,
Good looking car!!! I know how excited you must be to "get it on the road" and have fun. You will not believe how many other vehicles on the road will slow down or speed up to check it out, give you the "thumbs up" and talk to you about "what is it???" in parking lots. :eek: Happy Motoring!!!!

Casey;
Congratulations on yor new acquisition. I remember when I bought mine early Feb 04 out in Seattle. Had it shipped to Ohio and when it arrived I had to pick it up in the snow. I drove it home about 30 miles from where it came in at but, what a blast. I stopped to get gas and you should have seen the folks flauking around the car and asking questions. Most of which I could not answer. Thanks to the folks on this site I have now become much more educated on the CS. Again congratulatons. I know when spring gets here you will surely enjoy the car.

Don ;) :D ;D

Casey, congratulations on the arrival. You are going to love driving it this summer up and down Lake Shore Drive. Put some pics in the gallery with a city back drop. Chicago is a great place, Mark.

Congrats Casey, your car arrived the same time of the year as mine and under the same conditions. It's déja-vu all over for me. One positive thing about winter,and we of the snow belt have to think positive, is that we have lots of time to tinker. Time however seems to go faster these days and before you know it you will be crusin' in your new/old special. Best of luck.

Thanks for everyone's comments. Here is one more picture after we got it in the garage and started to dry it off. I will post a few more pictures on the gallery and the info. The car is in excellent condition with a C code 289, out of Pasadena, CA all its life.
