It is time to let my C/S go. I've done about all I can/want to do, and it has turned out quite nice. The Marti says; Lime Gold, Standard interior, J code 302, A/T, P/S, A/C, 3.00 rear axle ratio. The previous owner did the resto, and did a great job. I have an album (photos, parts list, log) of the process. He did a color change to Meadowlark Yellow & Black Standard interior. It is a numbers matching car (the 302 was O/H'd and has 2,220 miles on it). A/C blows cold. There is no rust on this car.
I added/changed/upgraded the following: Black Deluxe interior, Dual exhaust (with correct GT valance & tips), Power Booster for drum brakes, Console, Black vinyl top, Edelbrock 600CFM carb (I still have the original 4300), Shelby 15" wheels (and new tires), Mini Tach (in place of the clock), AM/FM radio with power antenna, LED bulbs in instr. panel & tail lights, Pertronix ignition.
More photos available- I can e-mail. Price is firm.

Neil

PS:
Jon is posting the photos for me. I have a problem uploading them from my computer.

I have seen the car in person. It is as described...a very beautiful car. An exceptional price to me. Should be gone soon.

Neil;
That car is definitely a steal in any economy. If anyone thinks they can buy a 5 or 10 thousand dollar car and have it like your's for less, well, it just can't happen.
If I had a car I was about to do, I would sell and buy yours.
I expect you will be advising us soon that the car is sold.

Neil,
I hope you have your eye on another GT-CS or HCS. Someone will be very fortunate to get the car after you have had it. I also hope you still plan on hanging around this site what ever happens. Marty

My pleasure comes from re-doing these cars, much more so than driving them. I'll find another and do it all over again. That's been my pattern for the past 30 years. I don't necessarily do it on a profit basis- just content to have a hobby that pays for itself (most of the time!!).
I'll only list this car on this site (no E-bay, Craigslist, etc) so someone that appreciates these cars may buy it. If no takers, I'll just hold onto it. (Oh, please don't throw me in that briar patch!)
I've yet to build my perfect dream car (yeah, another '68) but I've still got a few more restorations left in these old bones.
I'll soon be listing my 1968 convertible as well, and then start looking for my next project. Thanks to all for the nice comments.

Neil

Since I only do '68's (the age of specialization!!) my first choice will be another C/S. I won't rule out a convertible though. It takes a lot of looking to find a good candidate due to rust problems after 40+ years (cowls, floorpans, frame). But they're still out there.

Neil; The person I sold my 1968 J-code 4 speed is selling car and still a project but with the sheet metal work done. I sold it with the engine that I bought from you but dont know how much he wants for the car.

I know who has a 1968 HCS( C-code) 4 speed that needs work. Lime gold too.
I think that you prefer automatics but just to let you know.
