For sale (1) Lucas LR8 lamp , original not reproduction . Never installed , good condition. Purchase for replacement or spare.

This is a driving light, while California Specials were equipped with fog lights.

Maybe, just maybe there's someone out there how would like to have driving lights vs fog lamps. or would like to have this to build up a fog lamp. Who knows. You never know who's out there looking for items to build up or possible trade. I get the purist thing, absolute correctness been there myself.

Were the Marchalls driving or fog lights?

I'm pretty sure they were also fog lights, but will let others say for sure.
The lights for sale also have black plastic cases, not chrome. The GT/CS hardware won't work on these lights because the threads are different.

@classicsguy Marchal offered both, just like Lucas. The only Marchal light installed on a GT/CS was the Fog light verison. The driving light was called a spotlight.
