Found this on Craigslist yesterday, its in Annapolis MD. I called the owner, Mike, yesterday. He stated he has a Marti Report, is planning on scanning and sending it to me (Mike if I get it I will forward it to you). It is a 289, automatic, Meadow Lark Yellow and black interior. It has all the original fiberglass and CS parts. He did state the Lucas lights where not in great shape. He has redone the suspension, front and rear, all sheet metal (cowl and floors), new power disk brakes and beefed up the engine (I forgot to ask him if it was the numbers matching original). He has owned it for a while but has lost interest in it. All it needs it final prep and paint, then assembly. I asked him if he had been on this site and he stated he wanted to but has never been (state he was not too tech savvy). I plan to go and take a look at it this weekend if anyone is interested. I asked him if it was OK for me to post it on here for him, I told him everyone on this site was honest and very knowledgeable about these cars. It looks like a VERY good deal, he is firm on the price. If I was not moving in a few months I would have purchased it but I figured someone on the site might want it. If you call him, give him my name and tell him you saw it on this site. Here is the link:

Doug,
Did you get a chance to take a look at the CS? At that price and being so close in MD, it might be worth the investment.

Nate,
I did not go look at it....if I was not moving I would definitely be interested in this car. I talked to the owner and he has done quit a bit of work on it and for $6k I think it is a great deal. Plus it has all the original CS hard to find parts. I will go take a look if someone is interested in it.

A bit off topic...my car is the same color and same color of engine compartment as this car. Does anyone know if this is the original color of the engine compartment (black) or was it originally in body color? /Jesper

The photo indicates the correct engine compartment color. (A satin Black)
