...The only thing I don't like about those is limited ability to get to a small fire before it gets big...

We only allow Bar-B-Que's in August in your area Tim.

My take on terminology: A hood pin is a straight shaft that protrudes through the hood from bottom to top and has a hair pin cotter key that locks into a hole drilled in the end of it. A hood twist lock is a knob with a shaft attached that goes from the top of the hood to a recepticle mounted to the radiator support and is latched by turning a 1/4 or 1/2 turn while pressing down, like a Zeus fastener. We have twist locks, early Shelby's had hood pins. The purpose of both is to keep the hood from flying open at high speed and making you fill your Huggies if the latch fails. Of course, I consider a Motor an electrical device and could never understand why Ford named his company Ford Motor Co. when the cars had to be hand cranked and didn't have windshield wiper motors or heater motors--so take everything I say with more than a grain of salt.

Leave it to Steve to keep things "light and airy". Us "country bumkins" in the NW are easily cornfused....

Love the tailights!!! and welcome to the site!!! I am so not a purist and do what I want!!!

There are all sorts of personalities on this website, but I feel they all are for the common good of our love of GT/CS cars. Paul is the father of all that we have here, but Arlie is a wealth of information and has helped me numerous times to understand areas of my car. We have experts in all areas of these cars! And none of them (including me) are very shy as you can see!!!

This is absoultely the best community of Mustang lovers I have ever seen!!

Again, welcome!!

Rob
