hello - been in the middle east for a while and missed this post

In OZ it is illegal to have any other colour than Amber indicatator lights - However in W-OZ its permissible to use the Original Indicator lamps that the car was delivered with as long as said car is 30+yrs old.
Your rear back up lamps may have been disconnected - either at the firewall or on the tranny.
The general public get kind of crazy over here seeing my blinking red lights , a few dummies have even abused me for Non compliance - Idiots should put brain in gear before mouth !!!!
So if you have amber lens on your rear backup that's okay (dime a dozen at most OZ mustang suppliers) But i am sure Victoria is same as WA and therefore blinking red lights on a GT/CS is also okay cause its 30yrs old. Any other details please PM me as i am off to Peru tomorrow. Then onto LA ------------- HOPE TO CATCH a car show.

regards

When I took my '67 coupe to Oz I had to do the same thing with the amber lenses in the reverse lights. The law in Oz is that you must have an amber turn signal. So, your car has been rewired to pass licensing.

My '67 is now back in Canada - wiring and lenses all back to normal.
