Have any of you installed a fan shroud on a Champion aluminum radiator? Will a standard aftermarket shroud for a large-radiator car work?

Please ignore the goofy top bracket; it’s just temporary.

Thanks

Arlie

Arlie, If you can get me measurements of the side holes. i.e. horizontal and vertical measurements, I can compare to stock Mustang shrouds. Hopefully the radiator is situated so that the fan is will be centered in the shroud with those mounting holes.

HI Scott,
The holes are 25" x 10", but the vertical dimension can change by drilling new holes. The horizontal dimension is pretty well set, but I should be able to trim the shroud if needed.

Good news, the 24 inch fan shrouds for Mustangs have 25 inches on center for the horizontal. Vertical is 10-1/4, might have to file a bit to fit fasteners. Measured from a Daniel Carpenter manufactured small block fans shroud C9OZ-8146.
Same for 1968-69 289/302/351W.
