Radiator Mount Bracket "spacers"?

I think I have what is called a saddle mount radiator bracket on the top of my radiator, but there is a space between each of the bracket arms and the top of my radiator. What am I missing... some sort of rubber grommet to absorb the vibration? (ps...I recently noticed a black sticky substance running along the top side and down my radiator, almost like something melted).

Please see pic for details. Does anyone know of such spacers/grommets?

Steve

Yes. That's the part. Fold them into a U shape and feed the nipple things through the holes in the bracket. Might want to take a look at the lower ones, also...if it appears that the original uppers "melted", maybe the lowers are in need of replacement, too.
