I have been a member here for a very long time, and have had a loaded red/red c-code California Special since the early 90’s. The car was last on the road in California in 1982. I stored it until 2010, when I took it for a 12 year nightmare paint job. Finally!…it’s out of the paint shop and we are finally putting it back together. I told my wife 25 years ago when we got married she could have this car, and we are so excited to see the car come to life. We are going back mostly original with a few light mods to make the car more drivable (like upgraded steering and seatbelts).
