For those interested there is a new registery forming for 67, 68 & 69 "S" code cars. Check it out. There should be some pretty interesting items coming about in the next few months.

http://www.scodemustang.com/

I particularly like the way they have it set up to authenticate your car.

But since they're all S codes the Marti report doesn't do much for the Registry. The VIN already authenticates the cars.

The purpose is not to document the fact they are "S" code cars. One must read the page and you will see what the purpose of the site is.

"SCodeMustang.com was started in February 2005 to provide an active and progressive collection of data regarding 1967, 1968 and 1969 S-Code Mustangs."

I should have used different verbage other than "Authenticate" to address this issue. The purpose of the Marti Report is to gather as much data as possible about the build options on these cars. I appologize if my usage of words caused any confusion. Either way I'm glad to see that someone is taking the time to document the history of these cars.

Thanks Don. I guess with all the talk lately of clones and verification I've got that on the brain.

Yes, the collection of reports will be a nice way to track options, stats and trends for those cars.
