1968 Side Scoop

Greetings California Special community. I have been away for a number of years since sending my beloved S code to a great home. I sent the extra pieces and parts with the car but recently came across an extra side scoop I forgot I had. I would like to find a home for this scoop but am not sure if it is oem or repop and possible value. Hopefully someone can help

I believe that the original scoops have what is called a witness line along the outboard side of the scoop opening. Repops do not.

I'm no expert, but I think it's OEM. The aftermarket ones I've seen don't have the 2 screw holes in the front.

Some of the reproduction scoops do have witness lines.

I thought that the OEM ones had a rivet for attaching the screens? Don't see a rivet hole.

Thanks for the information. I do not want to misrepresent it to whomever may purchase it. Do you have any input as to what might be a fair value for this item for buyer and seller?

Steve,
Tony Branda sells a single side scoop for $105, Scott Drake sells one for $170, and CJ Pony sells one for $180. FYI, all of them have the witness lines. I've seen OEM one's sell for more than $300 (I got the one below 15 years ago for a lot less don't remember what I paid for it, first 2 pics) and I purchased the non-OEM one for around $50. Note the different in the fiberglass look and how the bolt is connect. So I would say somewhere between $50 - $100. Just my 2 cents.
