1968 Trunk lid fit

Noticed that the sides of the trunk lid bow up slightly along each side. The gutter/rear 1/4 line is about 1/4"-3/8" lower near the mid point of the trunk.

Wondering if this is normal or if the lid may be bowing with age...

Mine does the same thing on the drivers side. When it rains, I have to run a small piece of vacume tubing inside my regular trunk seal to keep the rain from running over into the trunk area. It's the nature of the beast. I haven't seen a true CS or Shelby yet that doesn't have that problem. A friend of mine with a 69 shelby has that problem with his hood on both sides.
