That is a very nicely optioned GT/CS!! I like the white with black stripe combo too, and I'm very much a Candy Apple guy.

It looks like they took it all apart and put it back together on a rotisserie, but left the original paint?

Interesting. White exterior with a Saddle interior. Not sure I've seen that combo in person. I wish they had a few more photos posted.

Yeah, nice options; factory headrests, 8-track, tilt steering, GT, PS, AC, lower console.

Anyone else think $70k is a bit high for a "well optioned" J-code. Thoughts on current valuations welcomed.... I'm in the process of looking and Arlie has been helping a bit.

I check mine on Hagerty each year. Mine is a basic C code with minimal options and I am in Canada. Last October, mine came in at $62,300. It is in excellent condition.

Did you add options to the valuation to get. that number? I'm seeing Concours condition at $51k for 302cid/230hp 4bbl

Yes it is high. I just sold a newly restored 68 S code, 4spd candy apple red GT coupe for 42K.

I'd say it's way overpriced considering the Canada J-code is around $45K.

Hagerty give you choices as to the condition of the car. Mine is in excellent condition, Interestingly enough, I just went back and looked. Today it is valued at $57,500.

The “market” seems to be softening.

Ruppstang: was that car you sold a CS/GT or just GT?
